Our website address is: https://ikaze.rw. We are operating an e-learning marketplace where instructors (creators) can create and sell online courses and/or can share any other digital contents, so  the learners (students) can enroll or buy for educational purposes.

  • Welcome to Ikaze.rw. These Terms of Service and policies (“TOS/policies”) govern your access to and use of the Ikaze.rw website, services, and applications (collectively, the “Platform”).
  • The Platform serves as a marketplace where instructors (“Instructors”) can create, publish, and sell online courses, and students (“Students”) can purchase and access educational content.
  • By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.
  • Ikaze Inc. reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and policies at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms and policies.
  • Account Creation
    To access certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You may register using your email address or through third-party services such as Google or Facebook .
  • Account Responsibility
    You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify Ikaze Inc. immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • Account Information
    All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time, except that username changes are not permitted .
  •  Password Reset
    If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email for security purposes
  •  Instructor Eligibility
    Any individual with expertise in a subject may apply to become an Instructor. Ikaze Inc. reserves the right to approve or reject Instructor applications at its sole discretion.
  • Course Content Standards
    Instructors agree to:
    • Create high-quality, original content that does not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights
    • Provide accurate and complete course descriptions, including learning objectives and prerequisites
    • Structure courses logically with sections, lessons, Topics, and supplementary materials
    • Update course content as necessary to maintain accuracy and relevance
  •  Prohibited Content
    Instructors may not publish courses containing:
    • Illegal content or activities
    • Hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory material
    • Defamatory or misleading information
    • Infringing or unauthorized copyrighted material
  •  Course Approval
    Ikaze Inc. reserves the right to review and approve all courses before publication. Courses that violate these Terms may be rejected or removed without notice.
  • Instructor Termination
    Ikaze Inc. reserves the right to decline, suspend, or remove any Instructor at any time for violation of these Terms, non-payment of fees, or conduct that interferes with other users
  • Course Pricing
    Instructors set their own course prices. The Platform suggests a price range of $2.99 to $29.99 USD, though Instructors may price courses outside this range based on perceived value .
  • Payment Processing
    Students pay for courses through the Platform’s payment system. Ikaze Inc. processes payments and distributes earnings to Instructors according to the Platform’s revenue model.
  • Payouts to Instructors
    Instructors must set up accurate payment details in their account settings. Payouts are subject to:
    • The Platform’s commission structure
    • Minimum payout thresholds
    • Applicable taxes and fees
  • Currency
    All transactions are processed in the currency displayed at the time of purchase.
  • Refund Period
    Ikaze.rw offers a 2-day refund policy. If 2 days have passed since your purchase, a full refund or exchange cannot be offered .
  • Refund Eligibility
    To be eligible for a refund:
    • The item must be unused and in the same condition as received
    • The item must be in its original packaging
  • Non-Refundable Items
    The following items are non-refundable:
    • Digital items, including online courses
    • Perishable goods (food, flowers, newspapers, magazines)
    • Intimate or sanitary goods
    • Hazardous materials or flammable liquids
    • Gift cards
    • Downloadable software products
    • Sale items
  • Digital Access Period
    All digital items are accessible for 90 to 120 days from the date of purchase. This period may be extended upon request depending on usage .
  • Partial Refunds
    Partial refunds may be granted in the following situations:
    • Items with obvious signs of use
    • Opened media (CDs, DVDs, software, video games)
    • Items not in original condition or missing parts
    • Items returned more than 2 days after delivery
  • Refund Process
    Once a return is received and inspected, Ikaze Inc. will send an email notification regarding approval or rejection. Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe .
  • Late or Missing Refunds
    If you have not received a refund:
    • Check your bank account
    • Contact your credit card company (processing time may apply)
    • Contact your bank
    • If still unresolved, contact info@ikaze.rw
  • Exchanges
    Items are replaced only if defective or damaged. Digital items are not exchangeable
  • Ikaze.rw collects the following information:
    • Comments: When visitors leave comments, the Platform collects the data in the comments form, IP address, and browser user agent string
    • Account information: Personal information provided during registration
    • Cookies: Login information, screen display choices, and site preferences
  • Cookies
    The Platform uses cookies to Save login information (2 days for standard login, 2 weeks if “Remember Me” is selected
  • Embedded Content
    Articles on the Platform may include embedded content (videos, images, articles, etc.) from other websites. Embedded content behaves as if the visitor has visited the other website and may collect data, use cookies, and track interactions .
  • Data Retention
    • Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely to recognize follow-up comments automatically
    • User profile information is stored for registered users
  • User Rights
    If you have an account or have left comments, you may:
    • Request an exported file of personal data held about you
    • Request erasure of personal data, except data required for administrative, legal, or security purposes
  • Spam Detection
    Visitor comments may be checked through automated spam detection services
  • Platform Content
    All content on the Platform, including but not limited to text,images, videos, audios, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Ikaze Inc. or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
  • Course Content
    Instructors retain ownership of their course content. By publishing a course, Instructors grant Ikaze Inc. a non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute the content on the Platform.
  • User-Generated Content
    By posting comments or other content, you grant Ikaze Inc. the right to display and distribute such content in connection with the Platform.
  • Copyright Infringement
    Ikaze Inc. respects intellectual property rights. If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright, please contact info@ikaze.rw.

Users may not:

  • Use the Platform for any illegal purpose
  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Platform
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the Platform

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Ikaze Inc. acts as an intermediary connecting Instructors and Students and does not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or completeness of course content
  • The Platform shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform
  • The Platform shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or expense resulting from course cancellations, technical issues, or events beyond the Company’s control

The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Ikaze Inc. does not warrant that:

  • The Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Course content will meet your expectations
  • Any errors will be corrected

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ikaze Inc., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Platform
  • Your violation of these Terms or policies
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Your course content (for Instructors)

Ikaze Inc. reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Violation of these Terms or policies
  • Non-payment of fees
  • Conduct that interferes with other users
  • Any other reason deemed appropriate by the Platform 
  • Governing Law
    These Terms and policies shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Rwanda.
  • Dispute Resolution
    Any claim or dispute arising from these Terms and policies or your use of the Platform shall be resolved through:
    • Negotiation: The parties shall first attempt to resolve the dispute through good-faith negotiations
    • Arbitration: If negotiation fails, the dispute shall be resolved by arbitration in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Rwanda

Ikaze Inc. reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time without notice. The Platform shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Platform.

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy:

  • Comments: Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely to automatically recognize and approve follow-up comments without moderation delays .

  • User Accounts: For registered users, we store personal information provided in user profiles. Users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time, except they cannot change their username. Website administrators can also see and edit this information .

  • Course Access: Digital course content is accessible for 90 to 120 days from the date of purchase, though this period may be extended upon request 

  • Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at info@ikaze.rw.
  • If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.
  • We collect personal information you voluntarily provide when creating an account, enrolling in courses, applying to become an instructor, leaving comments, or contacting support, including your name, email address, profile information, and billing details processed through third-party payment processors.
  • We automatically collect technical data when you visit the platform, such as your IP address, browser type and version, usage data including pages visited and time spent, as well as device information like operating system and unique identifiers.
  • When you leave comments, we collect the comment data along with your IP address and browser user agent string for spam detection, and an anonymized hash of your email may be shared with the Gravatar service to display your profile picture.
  • After your comment is approved, your profile picture becomes publicly visible in the context of your comment.
  • Severability
    If any provision of these Termsa and policies are found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
  • Waiver
    Failure to enforce any provision of these Terms and policies not constitute a waiver of such provision.
  • Entire Agreement
    These Terms and policies constitute the entire agreement between you and Ikaze Inc. regarding your use of the Platform.
